Small experimental game that shows an explorer visiting (probably) his planet. The place that it travels seems uninhabited and but containing devices that seem to represent the past of the world, as before it was full of life, the divisions between the people began and the conflicts began causing devastation between the people, once that was over the winners proceeded to create factories and consume their resources which ended up causing environmental disasters which caused more suffering. Probably the damage to the world was too much to be able to repair it before it was uninhabitable for their civilization but at least the terraforming process would continue even after its end.

Something I have to add is that the management of light is quite well done, which helps to reinforce the idea of artificiality in the world and gives a rather bleak atmosphere.

A very pretty game about a collapsed civilization. I especially liked all the lens flare effects.

absolutely impressive

Thank you! :)

Great concept!

Although I wished I could do a little more than walking alone, I really enjoyed the admospere and music of the game and the story you are walking through.

Great way of using the statues to give the player hints at what happened in the environment!

Nice work!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere :D

Nice !

Thanks!

A beautiful game.

Thank you! :D

Cool looking game, N2D!

I was looking for a game that I thought best used pixel art as an art form for my article. I love the limited color palette with pops of red.

I included a little commentary about the game and how it used the pixel art style to emphasize the setting.

Would it be okay if I used one of your images for the article?

Thank you for your time and for reading.

Thank you! May I ask what kind of article you're writing? Is it for a magazine, your personal blog, or something else?

Also, I'd greatly appreciate if you could send me a link to the article or a draft or something like that.

I think I'd be best if you wrote me an e-mail: norma2d.pishposh[at]gmail.com

Looking forward to hearing from you! Thank you!

Thank you for your response.

I just sent an email to you regarding the information.

loved this experience! So meditative and atmospheric!!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)

I really enjoyed this short game! I loved the graphics, the music and the atmosphere! I hope we will get to see more from you :) I enjoyed guessing what the game was about (although I probably guessed it all wrong lol).
I am leaving a link to my youtube video, in case anyone wants to watch. Have a lovely day!

Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that you liked it :)

No worries, there's no right or wrong, haha - everything's up to personal interpretation ;)

Are you fool why didn't you change game to a paid its cool man its gonna be a paid game

Hey that's a pretty fun experience ! Really liked the lighting, how did you manage that ?

Thank you! There is no actual lighting in the game, haha - it's mostly done through different materials, and effects like the lens flare are handled in a Post Processing Volume.

good

Thanks so much for making such wonderful game, Norma2D. It was a truly beautiful experience, that melted my heart with the way the story was told by the symbols (of course with what I interpreted). The art style and the music felt like soulmates in your game, although it didn´t have that much interactivity and no words at all, it wasn´t necessary to make this game splendid. Congrats on getting it published!

Thank you so much for playing! I really enjoyed watching your video and I'm super happy to hear that you liked the game :D

Thank you! ❤️🌹

Cool. Congratulations =) Very nice work.

What program did you use to make this game?

Thank you! I used Unreal for game dev, Aseprite for the pixel art and FL Studio for music and sounds that I created myself.

EPIC

Amazing game dev and a little bit scary :D

Thank you so much! <3

Great pixel art and music, the lighting effects are used really well too! Environmental storytelling taken literally!

Thanks a lot! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it :D
